About /sam.di/ /kɛlk/ /ʃoz/

My Dear Reader,

Samedi Quelquechose doesn’t mean “same day, same thing,” but that’s not a bad way to look at it. The French literally means “Saturday something,” and shouldn’t mean anything to anyone. Other than me, that is. I came up with the term upon mishearing”ça me dit quelque chose,” which funnily enough, roughly means “that means something to me.”

You know what? Everyone always says your blog is meant to focus on one thing, like music or photography or whatever. But I don’t care what they think. If you look around, you’ll see that Samedi Quelquechose is a garden of assorted delights. I like books and music, so I write about them. But I also like photography, sports, and travelling, and so I spill my quill on them, too. All of these dispatches, if you will, have been lovingly crafted by yours truly, for yours truly. But should you stumble upon my humble heap  and like what you here reap – be so kind as to let me know, and I shall better sleep.

Yours faithfully,

Valiant Synonym
